Austin Water Announces ASR Open Houses & Office Hours

Austin Water wants to begin a three-year scientific study, in a lab setting, to see if storing drinking water underground in the Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer could work safely. They are working to develop protections and benefits for the Bastrop County community alongside the aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) project. They want to hear from Bastrop County residents to help them develop a plan that works. 

All throughout the month of September, Austin Water will host Open Houses and Office Hours for residents to come learn, ask questions to, and talk one-on-one with Austin Water ASR project team. Bring your questions and find out what ASR could mean for our groundwater.
