Overview

The purpose of the Agricultural Production Meter Program is to:

  • Provide cost-shared flow meters to agricultural producers and irrigation wells.
  • Improve water measurement and irrigation efficiency to support water conservation efforts.
  • Support data collection to aid in aquifer monitoring and sustainable resource management.

Free meters will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

HOW TO GET A FREE METER

  1. Submit a completed application to the District.
  2. Wait for District approval before installing any equipment.
  3. Upon approval, receive a meter from the District.
  4. The Producer will install the meter at the approved well site using private funds.
  5.  Schedule an inspection with the District.
  6. After passing inspection, submit itemized paid invoice(s) to the District for reimbursement of installation cost.
