Sales Tax Exemption
The Texas Tax Code Section 151.355 exempts rainwater harvesting equipment and supplies from state sales tax. To claim this exemption, a purchaser of rainwater harvesting equipment must furnish a Tax Exemption Application Form 01-339 to the supplier of the equipment.

Rainwater Harvesting Rebate Program
The Lost Pines Groundwater Conservation District (LPGCD) seeks to promote sustainable water use through a Rainwater Harvesting Program. This initiative is designed to encourage both residential and large property owners to incorporate rainwater collection systems, helping conserve groundwater resources while fostering community-wide water stewardship.
